CORPAK

About Us

CORPAK MedSystems, founded in 1979, manufactures and markets enteral/vascular access and surgical protection devices used primarily in the acute care setting; hospitals and surgery centers. Headquartered in Wheeling, IL, CORPAK MedSystems employs approximately 150 people and operates an ISO-certified manufacturing facility, also located in Wheeling, IL. Products are sold worldwide through a combination of exclusive distributors and a direct sales force.

Under the CORFLO brand, CORPAK manufactures a complete range of leading edge enteral access devices. Featuring CORTRAK, a device that “traks” the feeding tube during the bedside placement procedure, a number of our products hold leading market share positions. These single patient use, patented products, drive both clinical and economic solutions for clinicians and their patients.

Similar to CORTRAK , the patented Navigator BioNavigation system determines the position of vascular catheters placed at the patient bedside. This technology eliminates the need to transfer patients to IR for the procedure and reduces multiple confirmatory x-rays.

Additionally, CORPAK is a leading manufacturer of the CORFLO Anti-I.V. (AIV) feeding system. These products, primarily designed for pre-mature infants, prevent the inadvertent connection of enteral feeding devices to I.V. systems, and vice versa. An event of this nature could be life threatening and the patent pending design features of our CORFLO AIV product line eliminate this possibility.

Under our Stackhouse brand, CORPAK manufactures surgical helmet/gown systems and surgical smoke evacuation systems. Both of these products protect both the patient and clinician during surgical procedures.

The Stackhouse FreedomAire surgical helmet and gown system features a light weight helmet device combined with a proprietary gown featuring an optically correct lens. The FreedomAire system is worn primarily by Orthopedic Surgeons during invasive surgeries such as hip and knee replacements to help reduce the risk of infection.

The Stackhouse VitalVac smoke evacuation system features a proprietary filter and multiple operating modes. The VitalVac system is used primarily in surgeries where cauterizing tissue is a key element of the procedure. Cauterizing tissue generates a smoke plume that can be harmful when inhaled by the patient and surgical staff. VitalVac’s patented filter system removes these harmful elements from the smoke plume.

CORPAK MedSystems is dedicated developing leading edge medical technology. Over the last 29 years, CORPAK has introduced many “firsts’ to the medical marketplace, and we plan to continue with this track record into the future.
